Happy Birthday Nana!

The post-vacation-beginning-of-the-year-blues are always mitigated by Nana's January birthday. This year, it gave Talinn a reason to bake and decorate while Nana was away in New York celebrating Apsara and Jay peris' civil union. Little Talinn was busy at home - making cupcakes and a card and setting things up for a special birthday celebration.First he whipped up countless mini strawberry cupcakes (most of which were consumed exclusively by him over the next few days). Then we spelt out Happy Birthday by sticking out letters on sticks. Talinn also made painted a special card for his favorite Nanu. And all of this was lovingly displayed with a balloon that Talinn had picked out earlier that afternoon. Nana was thoroughly pleased to come home to all this on the eve of his birthday.
The next day, we celebrated with our closest family and friends. Talinn sang his daddy joyeux anniversaire in french. Nana really enjoyed the day and his evening party surrounded by all the love and kids and cake.Happy Birthday Nana!!!
